Organized by the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation, The Kapiolani Community College or KCC Farmers Market is a popular Saturday event for the Oahu communities. Honolulu’s premiere farmers market is the only market featuring all Hawaii grown and produced foods. The market runs from 7:30am to 11:00am. There will be some traffic and competitive parking that may take between 5-15 minutes, so get there early. Sometimes, you get lucky and most tents will open 15 minutes earlier. Vendors will be there to educate about their products, share about how to grow them, and relentlessly ramble about the many ways to prepare them.
AKL Maui is in attendance at the KCC Farmers Market either the third or fourth Saturday of each month. Please check out our events page at http://www.aliikulalavender.com/t-akltours.aspx to mark your calendar!
July 31st, 2010 is the next KCC Farmers Market AKL Maui will be attending. You can choose to make a pre-order for all the products you need, and pick them up at the market. No lines, no waiting, just grab them and go. Convenient, easy, and quick so you can enjoy the rest of the market. Pre-orders will be taken up to 1pm on Tuesday, July 27th 2010 online.
Whether it’s to shop or simply browse around, come visit the AKL Maui family at the KCC Farmers Market and share the Aloha!
